Ube Chemicals (Asia) Public Company Limited (UCHA)


Established on February 1, 2010 from the merger between Thai Caprolactam Public Company Limited (TCL) and Ube Nylon (Thailand) Limited (UNT), UCHA is the only producer and distributor of Caprolactam and Ammonium Sulfate in Thailand and South East Asia region and the first specialist manufacturer of engineering plastic "Nylon-6 resin" in Thailand from monomer to compound.

The company's current registered capital is 8,804 Million Baht and its production technology is under license of Ube Industries, a world leader in Caprolactam and Nylon-6 manufacturing with over 40 years experience.



UCHA is currently operates annual production of following products
  • 110,000 tons for Caprolactam, which is a raw material widely used for Nylon-6 production.
  • 440,000 tons for Ammonium Sulfate.
  • 74,500 tons for Nylon-6 (monofilament grade, film grade and injection grade).
  • 6,000 tons for Nylon Compounding.

    The demand for Nylon Compounding has dramatically increased during the past few years, especially for intake manifold and automotive module applications and this trend is expected to continue.



    UCHA complies with the latest ISO and other recognized quality standards to become even more competitive. We realize on quality, environment and safety; we certified in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification. In addition to global standard, we strictly follow quality practice and process improvement such as Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM), KAIZEN and 5S.
