Ube Nylon (Thailand) Limited (UNT)
Established in June 1995 and started to produce Nylon-6 resin (monofilament grade,
film grade and injection grade). Today, the company currently operates annual
production of Nylon-6 at 24,500 tones.
UNT is the first specialist manufacturer of engineering plastic "Nylon-6 resin"
in Thailand from monomer to compound. To improve the company's product specialty
in engineering plastic, UNT initiated production of Nylon Compounding with a capacity
of 6,000 tons/year in 2002.
UNT's new compound factory will usher in a more advanced technology from overseas,
enabling the company to serve a much wider customer base. The demand for Nylon
Compounding has dramatically increased during the past few years, especially for
intake manifold and automotive module applications and this trend is expected
to continue.
UNT complies with the latest ISO and other recognized quality standards to become
even more competitive. UNT realize on quality, environment and safety; we certified
in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification. In addition to global standard,
UNT strictly follows quality practice and process improvement such as Total Productive
Manufacturing (TPM), KAIZEN and 5S.
