Through its commitment on being a good corporate citizen with continuous emphasis on social responsibility

UBE Group (Thailand) together with UBE Volunteer club have applied the Royal Initiative of His Majesty the King on water management into their own implementing guidance for its employees and communities and societies. Such participants can take part in preventing water shortage and inundation. “UBE: Conserving the Forest project” was  hence forth been initiated.

The aim of the project is to build check dam that can slow down or prevent the erosion and flood and help restore the forest for wildlife and conserve water for agricultural use throughout the entire year. (See details below)

Mr. Watchara Pattananijnirundorn, President and CEO of UBE Groups (Thailand) together with an executive management participated in the construction of the dam at Khao Chamoa National Park and made a financial donation to support the work of the Office of National Forest Park on May 9, 2015.

Upon the second consecutive initative, the program allowed participating volunteers along with their family members to visit Nhamkloi Watershed Conservation and Management Office in Rayong Province, with an objective to follow through on the construction of the water dam. This resulted in the water being sufficiently conserved for both the habitats of wildlife as for agricultural use during the dry season. The program took place on May 27, 2017.

And finally, in the third and fourth initiatives, the similar program has been carried out at Phawa Plu Canal, Kaeng Hang Maeo District in Rayong Province. The program took place on February 16, 2017.
