Nowadays, global warming, waste management and inefficient use of energy and resources are becoming more and more global issues and poses a set of challenges for any undertaking of sustainable business development by all the companies and countries. UBE Groups (Thailand) recognizes the vital role of the organization in being a part of the dialogue as solution concerning such issues. Recognizing its urgency and importance, we as part of community strive towards sustainable business live up to our principle: “A good cooperate citizen with continuous emphasis on Social Responsibility”.

UBE Groups (Thailand) has developed a sustainable development strategy that focuses on 4 separate areas as follows:

Economy: Operate our business not exclusively for profitability but for the benefits of all stakeholders.
Environment: Practice businesses that is beneficial to the conservation of the environment while promoting better recognition of efficient resource consumption.
Society: Strive to create a better quality of life in the communities where UBE operate.
Risk Management: Establish and follow through a compliance policy to strengthen corporate governance and fair operating practices and implementing FMEA system to adhere to the company’s safety standards.

Joining the Tod Kathin Ceremony with Local Residents

UBE Group (UBE Group (Thailand) joined the Tod Kathin Ceremony at Pluakket Temple located near our factory on October 24, 2021. The Tod Kathin Ceremony is an annual Buddhist ceremony for presenting monks with new yellow robes and accruing merit. We attended the ceremony along with local residents and made a donation to the temple.
